As we prepare for Light Concert 6.0, our focus is to deepen collaboration with vision-driven individuals, community partners, churches, creatives, and local stakeholders, with valuable input from Middlesbrough Council. Our aim is to extend our reach to a wider and more diverse community, bridging gaps between different groups and creating greater opportunities for unity, transformation, and positive social impact across Teesside and beyond.

Light Concert: From Humble Beginnings to Growing Impact
Light Concert began on 24 November 2019 at RCCG Tree of Righteousness, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria, with a remarkable debut attendance of 250 people. What started as a vision to create an atmosphere of worship, transformation, and spiritual impact through music soon began to grow in reach and influence.
The second edition took place on 13 November 2022 at RCCG Latter House, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, moving to a larger venue and attracting over 400 attendees. This marked a significant step forward and showed the increasing impact of the Light Concert vision.
Following relocation to the United Kingdom, the vision became clearer and continued to gain momentum in Teesside. Light Concert 3.0 was held on 2 December 2023 at RCCG Our Saviour’s Parish, Stockton-on-Tees, under the leadership of Pastor Richard Ladokun, with about 200 people in attendance. The fourth edition followed on 14 September 2024 at the same venue, welcoming 220 attendees and strengthening the concert’s presence within the Teesside community.
By 2025, Light Concert had grown into a much larger platform. The fifth edition was successfully hosted in the magnificent main bowl of Stockton Globe, bringing together a diverse audience united by faith, music, culture, creative expression, and community. With 1,000 registrations on Eventbrite and over 600 people in attendance, Light Concert 5.0 marked a major milestone in the journey.
From its humble beginnings in Lagos to its growing influence in Teesside, Light Concert continues to expand as a worship and community movement, creating spaces for spiritual encounter, unity, creativity, and transformation.
Light Concert event driven by Ignite Community, continues to grow with a renewed focus on collaboration, wider community engagement, and greater impact. This year, through the sixth edition of Light Concert, we continue to work alongside other vision-driven individuals and with valuable input from Middlesbrough Council to extend our reach to a broader and more diverse community.
Our goal is to unite people from different cultures, backgrounds, churches, and communities, creating a shared atmosphere of worship, hope, transformation, and positive social impact across Teesside and beyond.
